About Dan Shannon

  Dan is a filmmaker,  distribution sales  agent,  online marketeer.  His passion for  all things    film and web related, still keep him up at night  and drive his family crazy.

With over 20 years in the business of  film,  TV production and distribution, Dan Shannon has been producer, director, DP, on  dozens of films as well as senior product development executive for a major North-American DVD distributor.  He has secured  distribution for  hundreds of films and television series as well as documentaries into the North American DVD market and abroad. 

Mr Shannon has also produced numerous documentaries for North American and European TV.  Many of his films have been seen in over 120 coutntries.

He is the founder and/or a major shareholder in several online marketing and distibution ventures, where he continues to bring his expertise to the business of film TV and interactive media.  

Dan's film sales consulting firm regularly works with a range of clients, predominantly for film TV and interactive media project launches, with an emphasis viral marketing and international film/TV & DVD distribution. The company also takes on select representation mandates with independent producers in view of securing domestic and foreign distribution deals for their properties. 

He lives in Montreal, with his wife and 2 teenage kids.  He attends Église Nouvelle Vie, an independent french language full-gospel church in the outskirts of Montreal.
